Become a Reviewer
JEMSS invites qualified, experienced and professionally competent reviewers to participate in the process of reviewing research articles and papers sent to the journals. JEMSS follows double blind peer review. Both the reviewer and the author are anonymous to each other. JEMSS is aware of the fact that there are many qualified, capable and enthusiastic professionals willing to review papers. JEMSS Office of Publications under the guidance and supervision of Board of Directors is willing to receive competent applications from around the world to participate in this academic process. JEMSS Board of Director per the policy has authorized the Patron-in-Chief to select the competent reviewers. We advise that you can contact Patron-in-Chief and let him know that you are interested in reviewing. Patron-in-Chief usually selects reviewers based on the following criteria:
- Qualifications and experience of the reviewers preferably with MS and PhD degrees
- Past experience of the reviewers
- The number of papers applicants have published in their given area of expertise
- How many of those papers have been cited
- Recommendations from other researchers/reviewers they know/worked with
Being a reviewer can be a rewarding responsibility and helps you to stay on top of the most up-to-date research and without reviewers, it would be impossible to maintain the high standards of peer-review journals.
